A Guide for how to access MCAS for Parents
MCAS stands for "My Child At School"
Installation:
Start by downloading and installing the MCAS app - available for either Android or Apple.
When installing the app you will be asked if you want to allow notifications. We recommend you say YES so you do not miss any messages from us.
On running the app you will be prompted to choose and then confirm a 5 digit pin. After this you will be asked if you want to use biometric login, click yes to allow fingerprint or face ID login.
After this you will need to login using your email address and password. If you do not know or have a password use the "reset password" link and the system will send you an email to set / reset a password.
Use:
After setting up you will be able to sign in using just your pin, or if allowed, biometric login.
If you have more than one child at SBL (or other MCAS schools) you will be able to swap between students by clicking on the photo in the menu. If this doesn't work please use the MCAS helpdesk below and we will endeavor to sort things for you.
The MCAS website is www.mychildatschool.com
To log in to the site you just need your email address and password.
If you have not set or cannot remember the password then use the "Reset password" link near the bottom of the page to be able to set a password.
If you have more than one child at SBL (or other MCAS schools) then you can swap between them by clicking on their photo in the left hand menu. If this does not work please use the MCAS helpdesk (link below)
If you have any trouble logging in please use the MCAS helpdesk.
We have a dedicated MCAS helpdesk if you are having trouble logging in, or if anything else is not working for you. Please include as much detail as possible to help us help you. The link is https://forms.gle/oDvWWRp2qmqmPJNU7 .
